Every summer, from early June to mid-August, EU citizens wishing to study in Lithuanian higher education institutions submit their applications through the LAMA BPO system. More information about the procedure is available at: lamabpo.lt
Non-EU citizens apply directly to the higher education institutions, so they should contact them individually.
Prospective students must apply to the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) for recognition of their education obtained abroad. If the chosen study program is taught in Lithuanian, applicants must pass a Lithuanian language assessment or provide documents proving sufficient language proficiency. Applicants must also submit an online application to the selected Lithuanian higher education institution and pass entrance examinations (if required for the chosen program). In addition, it is important to attach copies of all required documents to the application before the specified deadline.
