The Monte Pacis hospitality complex is a four-star hotel and Michelin Guide restaurant housed in the historic guesthouse of the Pažaislis Monastery ensemble, built in the 17th century by the Chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Christopher Sigismund Pacas, for himself, his guests, and travellers. He named the house “MontePacis” – THE MOUNTAIN OF PEACE.

If you are visiting for a stay or a chance to try out the restaurant’s delicious menu, or if you just want to take a walk around Pažaislis Monastery and the surrounding park, don’t miss the opportunity to buy the Petrašiūnai district’s “Collect Kaunas” magnet.
